Plane Watching: LAX’s Airplane Landing View Point

In-between In-N-Out Burger and runways 24R / 24L sits “Airplane Landing View Point“, a park dedicated to plane watching. A true bucket-list spot for many aviation enthusiasts around the world. Nearby, the LA Flights team broadcasts their hit YouTube steam (check them out).

Access to the park is easy and there is street parking. In-N-Out can be very busy so traffic can back up. We walked from our hotel, LAX Hyatt Regency, 20 minutes in total. Check FlightAware or another service to see which runways are in-use or the walk is for nothing. There were many families enjoying the park along with plane-spotters.

We only stayed for 60 minutes but saw many widebody aircraft at a steady pace. A highlight of our time in LA.
