In Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Peter Bretter unknowingly follows ex-girlfriend Sarah Marshall to the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku Hawaii. The average night stay at the Turtle Bay Resort in the summer is $319 for a standard room (ocean view king), $629 for a beach cottage and $1,229 for the most expensive suite villa. The Kapua suite doesn’t exist and no suite is close to that price.
These are the rooms featured in the movie and they are very reasonable for Hawaii. so, it turns out that the hotel isn’t crazy expensive.
